Night's stalker
It crept through the dark throwing
light in its path
It lit up all corners that the woodland hath
It frightened
the night ones who roam in the dark
It woke up the day ones even unto
the lark
It swept through the trees with nary a sound
It moved not
the leaves all strewn on the ground
It woke up the birds which burst
into song
It warned off the bats who sleep all day round
The darkness
was lit with colours so bright
Displaying the beauty that hid in the
night
What was this strange thing the change it was wreaking
'Twas
only the day! The dawn in its breaking!
